What Yeshua taught about Moshiach“When the Perushim heard that Yeshua had silenced the Tzdukim, they came together, and one of them, a teacher of the Torah, tried to trap him with a question: “Rabbi,” he asked, “which is the greatest mitzvoh in the Torah?” Yeshua answered, “ ‘Love HaKadosh Baruch Hu with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and the most important mitzvoh. The second most important mitzvoh is like it: 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.' The whole Torah of Moshe Rabbeinu and the teachings of the Neviim depend on these two mitzvohs." When some Perushim gathered together, Yeshua asked them, “What do you think about the Moshiach? Whose descendant is he?” “He is HaMelech Dovid's descendant,” they answered. “Why, then,” Yeshua asked, “did the Ruach HaKodesh inspire Dovid to call him Adoni? HaMelech Dovid said, “Ribbono Shel Olam said to my Lord: Sit here at my right side until I put your enemies under your feet.' לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר נְאֻם ה' לַאדֹנִי שֵב לִימִינִי עַד אָשִית אֹיְבֶיךָ הֲדֹם לְרַגְלֶיךָ: (Tehillim perek קי, posek א.) If, then, Dovid called him ‘Lord,’ how can Moshiach be HaMelech Dovid's descendant?” No one was able to give Yeshua any answer, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.” Mattisyohu perek כב,
